About Our Slime-Filled Podcast!

   Back in August of 2020, two passionate 90s Nick fans on social media shared a small idea. Alex wanted to commission an avatar for his social media pages, and Brett needed ways to sustain his 90s Nick art that he's been frantically pumping out during the Pandemic. Within a quick few days, Brett delivered a piece that blew his client and friend away. It led to Alex mentioning his desire to do a podcast, and when the time arises, that Brett would do art for it as well. It was a little sentiment that only grew over time.

   Jump to July 2021 after Brett's short-lived livestream series "Buddy Television (BTV)" got axed by Instagram due to hyper-vigilant algorithms censoring his 90s Nick content. At this time, Alex had been starting a series of livestreams called "True 90s Nicksclusives" where he'd interview celebrity guests from various nickelodeon. They were a hit with fans. However, he didn't just want to interview only stars that 90s Nostalgia fans know and love; he wanted to shine a spotlight on a few fans who go the extra mile as well. Brett was the first fan to be interviewed on his show and share his love of 90s Nickelodeon with the world online. It was a magical experience, and once the recording was over, both of them felt that moment shouldn't be the end. The podcast idea resurfaced, and this time, it was time to get the slime pumping again.

   On August 11, 2021, "Splat Attack!" Officially launched on Podbean - the same day as the 30th Anniversary of Nicktoons. The stars have surely aligned with their wishes, because their journey of taking 90s Nick fans back to the slime-filled past has only gotten more exciting from here. Through the trials and tribulations of moving, losing recordings, rescheduling and losing guests, this dynamic duo persevered, season-by-season, thanks to their pod-philosophy: Embody the spirit of what made Nickelodeon special in the first place. Nick is Kids, Nick is fun, Nick is us.

Today, Brett and Alex continue their journey covering as many 90s Nick topics as possible for fans everywhere needing a little nostalgic vacation from reality. And the rest is history.
